Borgata Casino in Atlantic City has shut its doors this morning (from 2 AM on April 28, 2021) temporarily in order to upgrade its systems to MGM. Borgata is in the process of becoming fully integrated as an MGM Resorts destination, with some exciting changes on the way.
As part of the Borgata integration process with MGM Resorts International, all gaming operations at Borgata Atlantic City have been temporarily paused until 2 PM on Wednesday, April 28, 2021. This temporary pause includes slot machines, table games, poker, racebook, in-person sports betting, all casino cashier transactions and redemption of Express Comps.
While this closure will impact Borgata negatively in terms of revenue generated, all other non-gaming operations are still running for the day. Furthermore, this temporary closure may be an inconvenience in the short-term, but in the long-term will help work towards a full integration with MGM Resorts International and a better casino gaming experience for all visitors.
Owned by MGM Resorts International, Borgata continues to be one of the leading casino destinations in Atlantic City. Can’t get down to Atlantic City this week to play your favorite casino games?
