Hotel room rates during the Las Vegas GP have dropped in price for the first time since dates were announced last year.
In just two months, Formula 1 history will be made when Las Vegas hosts its first ever Grand Prix.
Preparations are now fully underway, with those in Vegas experiencing road closures and spotting Grand Prix marketing and merchandise at every turn. Excitement is certainly building.
The Las Vegas GP will take place November 16-18, 2023. The ‘night race’ will see the best drivers in the world take on a 3.8-mile track weaving past famous Vegas landmarks, hotels and casinos.
For the first time since dates were officially announced last year, Vegas room rates have decreased in price. Now might be the time to think about booking if you haven’t already!
When the Las Vegas GP dates were officially published in fall 2022, hotel prices on the strip more than tripled in price.
This trend was expected. It is common for price hikes to take place when demand for a location is high.
However, prices are now beginning to fall. Specifically, prices have dropped by 60% since dates were first released. This is a significant price cut.
Of course, Las Vegas’ hotel prices are still more expensive during the Grand Prix compared to normal periods of the year. But, if you are planning on heading to Sin City for one the biggest events the city has ever hosted, now might be the time to browse through the hotels available.
Expect hotel prices to continue to fluctuate as we approach November. With the Las Vegas Grand Prix expected to bring in $1.3 billion in revenue, it’s going to be an event for the ages.
