Connecticut are well on the way to introducing legal sports betting and online gambling after agreements between the Tribal Chiefs and Governor Ned Lamont.
Lamont have long been an advocate of legal gambling and has even made provisions in budgets for the tax revenues that could be collected from legislation. It now seems just a matter of time before the exact make up of legal Connecticut gambling becomes known and is implemented.
Connecticut currently only has two Tribal Casinos, Foxwoods Resort in Ledyard and Mohegan Sun in Uncasville. They operate on Tribal land under the Federal Indian Gaming Regulatory Act.

Online gambling is currently not permitted in Connecticut with no apps supported within the state boundaries. Connecticut residents can open accounts with legal sportsbook or online casino apps, but they will have to drive outwith the state in order to place a bet. Rhode Island is a single app betting state, with DraftKings Sportsbook operational, while nearby Pennsylvania allows for multiple apps both for sportsbook and online casino gambling.
