Nebraska still does not currently allow online gambling, but there are still alternative choices available in the state for Casino Gambling.
Three proposals to legalise casino gambling at sanctioned horse racing facilities establish a state regulatory agency funded by casinos to oversee and licence casinos in the state were adopted by Nebraska voters in November 2020. Though a final vote was not expected as of April 2021, later legislation approved in the spring of 2021 would also allow for in-person legal sports betting at certain locations.
Online gambling for casino and sports games is not currently legal in Nebraska.
There hasn’t been a significant campaign in Nebraska to legalise internet gaming. Sports betting and online poker have been reclassified as games of skill rather than gambling in response to proposed laws. If passed, these laws would make legal sports betting available in Nebraska.
Online casino gambling however is a separate matter, and Nebraska hasn’t recently demonstrated any interest in investigating real-money online casinos.

Only authorised racinos will provide sports betting, and bets must be placed in person at authorised facilities’ sports betting kiosks. Bettors can place bets on professional, international, and collegiate sports, as well as on esports, virtual games, individual athletic awards, and sports draughts.
Sports betting was officially legalised in Nebraska said Tom Sage, executive director of Nebraska Racing and Gaming, when the Secretary of State’s Office released newly approved regulations. The state still doesn’t have the necessary infrastructure for casinos to accept wagers, though.
Despite the fact that Nebraska does not recognise Daily Fantasy Sports as licenced or regulated, companies like FanDuel and DraftKings continue to operate there. DFS operates in a liminal space in Nebraska, as it does in many other states, where it is theoretically permissible but not formally permitted.
